Amadeus Foundation

The Amadeus Foundation is a health foundation dedicated to families expecting babies and with babies under the age of one, in Mangalia, Romania. Bradford Christian School has been working with the foundation since 1996.

Update June 2004

The team comprises two Brazilian families. The project is lead by Ireni Bacauu, and the church by Pastor Gilberto and family. Ireni married a Romanian dentist three years ago and they are expecting their second child.

Over the last year the foundation, with the help of a sizeable gift, have extended their facilities. From two or three rooms they now have a large two storey building. It will be a great encouragement to leave them with a gift this year as much of the work still needs to be finished. Their meeting room is complete and functional but the upstairs classrooms need completing. As always we will also leave enough money to support a child on the programme through the next year.

The first group leaves for Mangalia on Friday 9th July. We shall ask the team to bring us an up to date report on their experiences when they return.
