When does Discipleship Programme take place?
The programme will take place on Fridays after school for two hours between 3:30 and 5:30pm (non-uniform, and you will be able to buy small snack during the programme).
The first hour will be an interactive teaching session and the second will involve developing practical skills to be able to benefit other people through acts of service or outreach.
What do we do?
Details of the programme are still being finalised, but the initial schedule will look something like this:
-
March - getting the teenagers ready to lead a childrens club for the primary pupils after school
-
April/May/June - Romania Group 1 will lead the childrens club for the first three weeks and then Romania Group 2 will lead it for the second three weeks.
-
June/July - final preparations both spiritually and practically

However, we also envisage other people joining us with different areas of expertise.
Students from the Discipleship Programme are mainly the Romania groups although we do welcome anyone who is interested in discipleship from years 9, 10 or 11.
You don't have to be a Christian to come onto the Programme though the emphasis will be on personal growth in relationship with Jesus emphasis responding to the lordship of Jesus in each person's life
We would like you:
-
to commit to the programme on a weekly basis, although you may not be required to come every week
-
to take the follow up activities seriously
-
to enter into the practical aspects of the programme
-
to be prepared to be stretched in personal expression of your faith
We would like to be able to share our programme with your parent(s) and to encourage them to be aware and help if possible in part of the programme.
We would also like to communcate with your pastor and/or youth pastor about the programme knowing that they may have a programme that they would like you to be involved in at your church, if you go to one.
