Mr Richardson, Deputy Head

Mark Richardson is Head of Secondary. Year Eleven Form Teacher. ICT Teacher. PE Teacher.

Married with two children both attending Primary. Fellowship at Gateway Elim. Became a Christian at 17 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where I was born. Moved to England when I was 19 to attend a teacher training college, where I settled with Mrs Richardson.

Worked in a variety of jobs before and after teacher training college including a computer shop, a bulb warehouse, a cinema and the Inland Revenue. I came to the school in 1998 as Class Four Teacher.

It’s the best job I ever had - working with great kids, excellent working relations with staff and pupils – discipling kids into the Kingdom. There is a great opportunity to enjoy teaching in a well-ordered and positive environment.

I am clinging on to the twilight years of a football career in the Yorkshire Christian League http://www.ycfl.co.uk/ and enjoy a range of competitive sports. I enjoy the cinema, reading, art, playing guitar and visiting my place of birth, God's own country, Northern Ireland. Particularly the Antrim coast and its golden beaches.
