Mrs J Jones: Nursery Nurse Class One

Started in Class One as a volunteer one morning a week, ten years ago. Gradually worked up to current three-days-a-week position.

The highlight of my job is when a child finally 'gets' something, whether it be reading, forming a figure eight, or learning to add one more without using their fingers. The sense of achievement for them, and satisfaction for me, is enormous.
