Mrs E Mole, Childcare Teacher

Mrs Mole, Childcare
I work in Upper School teaching GCSE child development. The course covers many of the aspects of having children:
-
pregnancy
-
birth
-
how to look after a new born child
-
how a child develops from 0-5 years.
-
the course also has a large coursework section where the students study a real child. this really helps with their understanding of how a child develops as it is one thing to learn from a text book quite another to apply that knowledge to a real child.
I am married with one daughter in Year Six here at BCS. I became a Christian as a teenager and have fellowshipped at Church on the Way since that time.
I have over 20 years experience working with children from 0-18 years in various different groups within a church setting. I worked in a Christian Pre-school for 5 years before my daughter was born. Over the years I have gained experience in both how children develop and teaching skills. Thus equipping me for this role that I now have. How the Lord Has been working out His plan for me to work here for a long time before I knew I was going to work here.
I was called to work at BCS by the Lord! I wasn’t sure I was up to the task but I knew that God was. He has supplied my every need since starting and proved both his faithfulness and his calling too many times to count since September 2005 when I started. I know that working here I am doing what the Lord has called me to do. it is a good place to be working at the centre of God's plan. BCS has always had a special place in my heart as i was involved form the start praying for the school even before it came into being and I count it as a wonderful privilege to work here at the school. It is exciting to be a part of this work
