Dear Parents and Supporters

The last three weeks at school will be busy. Primary students are practising their nativity presentation at every opportunity. A reminder of plans for securing tickets are detailed below,

Christmas Programme

Our Christmas Production this year is entitled 'The Three Trees'. There will be an afternoon performance at 1.45pm on Monday 13th December and an evening performance at 7.00pm on Tuesday 14th December. Tickets will be given to each family in primary and you are asked to return unwanted tickets to the school office. Please only bring people you have tickets for, as once again space will be very limited. Tickets will be issued towards the end of the week. Parents are also asked to help with providing costumes, your child's teacher will let you know what your child requires very shortly.

School Council

The School Council met last week for the first time Hannah S Y10 and Tom B Y11 were elected as joint chairperson for the rest of the academic year. Rebecca R Y11 was elected as the council's secretary. A summary of their first meetings will be in the next newsletter.

Update on Baby David

Rachel Jones Y10 gives a brief update on how David's operation went last week in Liverpool.

Following David's operation to put a shunt in his head he is progressing well and his head has slowly decreased in size. However David and his family need to stay in England until at least February so they will be here for Christmas.

I ask that you pray over this situation and pray for Powla (David's sister) who is still in Romania. We are trying to arrange to fly her over to the UK and find someone to fetch her from Romania so that she can be with her parents.

If you can help in any way either through prayer, financially or practically please do so. Imagine how his family are feeling at this time. Rachel Jones.

PTA Christmas Bun Sale

Next week the PTA will hold a bun sale, part of the proceeds will go towards David and his family's expenses involved in their stay in England, secondly students will also raise money for David with the non-uniform day at the end of the term Friday 17th December. If your child would like to donate buns please see below for the day they should bring them, thank you.

Yours sincerely
