Romania Reports 2005

The Journey

I'm not normally a fan of long journeys, but the journey to Romania was very funny. We set off at 2am Tuesday morning on our way down to Heathrow Airport. It was pitch black and we took photos so by the time we got to the airport, we couldn't see that well from all the flashes but the pictures were hilarious!

The plane journey was fine, and then the journey from Bucharest to Mangalia was a long, tiring, sweltering one, but we got there in one piece! The journey back was just boring really, we had nothing to look forward to going home.

We brought the pastor's children home with us to help at Kidzone that Church on the Way do in the summer, so we got to see them for a little longer.

I cried leaving Romania, weird I know since i didn't cry when I left my friends and family in England! But somehow I got attached to the people we had been working with for the past nine days. I can't wait to go again in 2006!
