Year Seven Conistone Trip 2004

Sarah's Diary

Monday 11th October 2004

Today was our first day here. In the morning we all had to squeeze into the van with our luggage on top of us. The boys had to squeeze into Mr Leedham’s car with their luggage on top of them and we were all squished.

We soon got to the Hostel which wasn’t at all like how I imagined it and then we had to leave straight after to go to the caverns. In the cave it was cold and wet. We left the caverns and went swimming, it was really good. We all jumped in together and Mr Leedham had swimming races. We got out, dried off and went to the chip shop but Mr and Mrs Hewer got lost and couldn’t find us meanwhile Dr Viccary was still waiting at the Hostel for us.

The day has soon come to an end and we’re all going to bed.

Bye.

Tuesday 12th October

Today all the girls went pony trekking and the boys went to the trout farm. My horse was called Rocky and he was the cutest horse in the universe. Steph’s horse was greedy and kept stopping and eating and Claire’s horse was so big I thought it was going to eat me. Talking of eating tea was lovely we had pasta and it was delicious.

I’m tired but have to admit we didn’t get much sleep last night. When I was asleep I had my hand over the bed and Laura started shaking it.

Well see you. Bye
