Building Web Sites

This half-term we have been looking at building web sites using Dreamweaver for coding & Fireworks for graphics, but there are similar tools available for free:

• Nvu - free web page editor for Mac/Win/Linux (see below)
• The Gimp - free graphics editor for Mac/Win/Linux

Nvu hasn't been updated since 2005 - its author is currently working on a replacement called Composer but until that's ready you should download & use the bug-fix version of Nvu called Kompozer )
