Day Of Prayer

David Lee, one of our Governors, introduced at the Annual Partnership meeting our intention to initiate a day of prayer and fasting in the school once a term.

This term's Prayer day will be on Wednesday 17th May 2006. Students throughout the school will undertake a range of prayer-related activities appropriate to their age and understanding alongside our normal timetable.

Teaching staff and secondary pupils are encouraged to consider fasting for all or part of the Day of Prayer.

Younger children might opt to forego the sweet portion of their lunch or offer a similar sacrifice of their own choosing.
