School Prospectus Statement Of Doctrine

We would like to draw attention to our Statement of Doctrine:

  • There is one living God fully revealed in Christ Jesus
  • And known through Him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit three persons in one God.
  • God is Creator of all things, the act of creation being attributed to the Son through the operation of the Spirit
  • The Father sent his Son to be Saviour of the world
  • He who was with God was made flesh and dwelt among us
  • He was born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit and was truly man yet without sin
  • In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily Jesus died for our sins bearing our sins in His own body on the cross that He might bring us to God, being our Righteousness before God
  • Jesus rose from the dead and ascended up on high where He sits at the right hand of God
  • After Christ's ascension the Holy Spirit has been sent to dwell in His people individually and collectively so that in both ways they are the temple of God
  • Christians are sealed and anointed with the Holy Spirit
  • Christ will come again to receive His church to Himself
  • God has appointed a day when he will judge in righteousness the dead, small and great
  • Everyone shall give an account to God and receive the things done in the body, whether they be good or evil
  • The righteous will inherit eternal life the wicked, whose names are not in the Book of Life will be punished eternally away from the presence of God and cast into the lake of fire
  • To enter the Kingdom of God a person must be born again since he is naturally dead in sins and by nature a child of wrath
  • But God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life
  • Hence, it is by faith a person is saved
  • God the Father has chosen each of His people in Christ before the foundation of the world that they might be holy
  • Christians are called to manifest the life of Jesus in this life and to walk as he walked
  • They are sanctified through the offering of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit
  • The Lord has left two ordinances, baptism and the Lord's supper
  • On His ascension Jesus received gifts for men, for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edification of His body, the church
  • The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are inspired of God and are to be received as the Word of God which discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart
