When you want to use actual square brackets (not create a link), double up the first bracket eg: Ref [3] Use an exclamation mark before a Link Word to stop it being a link: HelpPages BUT be careful with linkwords in headings, since they also use exclamation marks - put a space between the ! and the text of the heading. Prefix names like 'McDonald' with '!' otherwise the page will try to make a link to a page called 'Mc Donald'. To see a list of all pages, enter a single space in the search box and press 'Go'.
