Year Eight Newspapers

We looked at newspapers and analysed them for content, purpose, audience and register. After analysing the newspapers we talked about what type of content we would put in a school newspaper.

We then -

• sketched a design on paper.
• chose and justified our software choice.
• began implementing our design using DTP software.

Some examples will be posted below.

We then looked at online newspapers, compared them with their paper counterparts and decided what was different. Using Serif Web+7, a WYSIWYG Web Creation Programme, the pupils then made their own online version. Some examples will be posted below.
